First time grooming this pretty boy! I wasn't able to bathe him myself, so please excuse the lack of finish work. This was a first time "blocking in" of a show pattern on a dog I've never seen before. I'm really excited to work with this dog! Circa 2013 at the Dallas Pet Grooming expo... I remember walking up to the registration counter the day before my class saying, "Do you know of anyone who has a poodle I could borrow?" The person sitting there, looked down at her dog and said, "yeah! This one!" This is my first ever group first placement and one of my proudest moments as a competitive dog groomer. I ended up placing 11th on Groom Team USA that year, just five points short of making the team. If you've competed, you know how far five points can be.
